The Dream That Kicks is proud to welcome two artists from Norway and Japan for a special live performance of audio-generated video and video-generated audio. Using a video synth and no-input mixer to create a continuously evolving dynamic exchange – an audio and video feedback circuit where every move on either side impacts the other.
Eye Hear 25 Ears is a deep dive into unpredictability and improvisation in sound and vision. A situation is created where the ever-developing process is the main theme, from movement to movement and moment to moment the audience is engulfed in an abstract cinematic-electronic world.
Kjell Bjørgeengen has created music, video installations, and live performances around the world over many years. He has appeared in numerous festivals and art institutions and collaborated with many important international artists including Evan Parker, Otomo Yoshihide and Kieth Rowe. Toshimaru Nakamura is a world-renowned sound artist who has performed and recorded throughout Europe, Asia, North and South America since the 1990s, pioneering the no-input mixer as his main means of expression.
